From the being formed under a Hickory Tree in now Downtown Hickory to our deep roots in furniture making, there is alot of great places to explore. We have a deep culture flowing through our veins in crafting and making. We are home to the World's Largest Collection of 1800s log cabins at Hart Square Village, as-well-as a beautiful collection of traditional Folk Art at the Hicoky Museum of Art. There is also a science center, aviation museum, and several historical homes or mills to visit.
