Hickory Museum of Art

Details

Discover Southern Folkart, changing exhibitions, educational tours, field trips, summer camps & art classes. The museum was founded in 1944 to collect, foster and preserve American art. Eight works were collected that year, and today, 70 years later, the Museum now has approximately 1,500 art objects in the Collection. Check website for current exhibitions. Hickory Museum of Art also offers an elegant atmosphere for receptions, parties, reunions, meetings and corporate functions. Wonderful works of art provide a prestigious environment for your event, and guests are encouraged to explore our changing exhibitions throughout the Museum.
