Since 1982 potter Kim Ellington has owned and operated Ellington Pottery. Specializing in making Catawba Valley pottery using local clay and ash glaze to make durable, wood fired stoneware for today. Exhibited in Museums across the country and used in homes down the street, Ellington Pottery has a reputation for innovation and excellence. The best opportunity to buy is at one of the pottery sales after a kiln firing. Pottery is also available for purchase between sales by appointment.
