The City Park is located on East Main Street, next to the Claremont Elementary School. The park has 14 acres, with 7 additional undeveloped acres. The park includes playground equipment, restrooms, horseshoe pits, 3 sheltered picnic areas, a pavilion-for larger groups, an amphitheater with stage, a paved quarter mile-walking trail and updated handicapped accessible playground equipment.
Claremont Park is a public park and you may utilize the amenities free of charge to those that live inside the Claremont city limits. If you do not live inside the Claremont city limits and wish to reserve the park, there is a $25 non-refundable fee for 1-4 hours of use and a $50 non-refundable fee for 4-8 hours of use. You are responsible for cleaning the area(s) that you use. The amphitheater can be used for concerts, weddings or church functions. Forms are available on the city's website or at the Claremont City Hall.
