Western Piedmont Symphony is the professional orchestra of the western foothills of North Carolina, based in Hickory. For years, it has enriched the region with high-quality symphonic music, dynamic performances, and educational programs for all ages. Each season features the classical Masterworks series, the entertaining Foothills Pops series, the intimate Crossroads series, and family-friendly Discovery Family Concerts. Under the artistic direction of Maestro Matthew Troy, WPS continues to inspire through live music and community engagement.
