Built by Daniel Webster in 1887. Traditional Queen Anne architectural elements characterize the house from the hipped roof with lower cross gables, to the scalloped wooden shingles and stained glass windows. Today, guests learn about the boom-and-bust economy of nineteenth-century Hickory as they tour the three primary floors. Tours are given on Thursday-Saturday at 10a, 11a, 1p, 2p and 3p. Adults $10, Ages 6-17 45 and under 5 are free. Other times by appointment.
